Senior Associate Solenn Borchers (Tübingen, Germany) received a diploma in Architecture from the University of Applied Sciences of Mainz, Germany. After working several years in Switzerland as an architect—on the construction of houses and a chapel as well as renovating a church—she moved to Paris, starting a prolific career in lighting design.

Borchers joined L’Observatoire International in 2011 and has been leading the European team in Paris ever since. She has led notable projects such as the Philharmonie de Paris Grande Salle with Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the Fondation Louis Vuitton with Gehry Partners, and the Carrousel du Louvre with Agence Dubuisson.
