Daniel Reinhard

Daniel Reinhard joined L’Observatoire International as a Lighting Designer in 2022 after working in HLB Lighting Design’s Boston office. Before that, he worked in LED-based art fabrication and business development roles at several design firms, including as Business Development Director at L’Observatoire International.

Reinhard received the Glenn W. Bailey Memorial Fellowship to attend the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lighting Research Center and won first place in the Designers Lighting Forum of New England’s Pecha Kucha Competition Scholarship program. His thesis, “High Application Efficacy with 3D-Printed Custom Optics,” won an IES NYC Thesis Award.
